Abstract: A retrospective study was conducted on 6 patients with lepromatous leprosy from 2014 to 2017. All 6 cases had classic histopathological and clinical features of lepromatous leprosy. Of 6 patients, 3 were males and 3 were females. Patients aged from 30 to 60 years old, with course of lepromatous leprosy ranges from one month to 40 years. Nodules and papules were common lesions, which involved the face in 6 patients, involved the extremities in 4 patients, involved the trunk in 2 patients. Neurological involvement in four patients, limb pain in one patient, recurrent ulcers on the right lower limb in one patient. The histopathologic features were consistent with lepromatous leprosy. Although Ningbo is low-risk area, early diagnosis and treatment is still a focus of future prevention and control of leprosy.
