Update in the treatment of prurigo nodularis

Abstract: The treatment of prurigo nodularis (PN) includes topical therapy, phototherapy and systemic therapy. Some new treatments  have been tried, such as neurokinin-1 receptor (NK-1R) antagonists, interleukin-31 receptor (IL-31R) antagonists, Dupilumab, μ-opioid receptor antagonists/κ-opioid receptor agonists and so on. The update of these new treatments of prurigo nodularis is reviewed in this paper.
