Abstract

Abstract: The mechanism of syphilis serofast and related factors are still unclear. Clinically, there is a high incidence of syphilis serofast. The phenomenon may be related to age, RPR titers, asymptomatic neurosyphilis, jarisch herxheimer reaction, Treponema pallidum subtype and cellular immune dysfunction. Syphilis serofast is a risk factor for syphilis recurrence and multiple system involvement. The occurrence and clinical outcome of syphilis serofast were reviewed in this article.
