Update of the effects of smoking on the pathogenesis of skin disease

Abstract: It is reported that reactive oxygen species (ROS), aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) and nicotine acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) of tobacco play an important role in the pathogenesis of skin disease in recent years. The update of the effects of smoking on the pathogenesis of common skin disease, such as psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, etc., is presented in this paper.
