Leprosy relapsed after clinical cure for 41 years: a case report

Abstract: A 73-year-old leper relapsed who had been cured for 41 years. The patient presented with systemic pain erythema, scattered red nodules in different sizes on trunk and limbs, accompanied by systemic fatigue discomfort, facial edema, with no joint pain and no nerve enlargement and pain. The patient was reported to the control institution, and treated with combination chemotherapy drugs with good effective. The patient is continued to be treated in the leprosy village.
