Results: A total of 416 MSM using novel drugs were included in the study, ranging in age from 20 to 70 years old, with an average age of 35.17±9.41 years old. 107 patients were infected with syphilis, the infection rate was 25.72%. The most common drug was Rush Popper. There were statistically significant differences in age (P=0.003), marital status (P=0.024), working status (P=0.001), awareness of HIV status (P=0.021), and condom use during last anal sex (P=0.020) among patients with syphilis and non-infected persons. Failure to use a condom during the most recent anal intercourse was a risk factor for syphilis in this population (OR=2.416).
