Abstract: Aneurysmal fibrous histiocytomas is a rare benign skin tumor with a high recurrence rate, and correct diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent recurrence. Herein, we retrospectively analyzed the clinical and pathological data of 5 patients with aneurysmal fibrous histiocytoma from August 2020 to December 2023. Among the 5 patients, 3 were males and 2 were females, the lesions were on the upper limbs in 2 cases and on the lower limbs in 3 patients. The diameter of the lesions were from 0.6 to 1.2 cm. In addition to the histological features of classical dermatofibroma, the tumor tissues had irregular hemorrhagic fissure, cystic structure, varying degrees of hemosiderin deposits and varying amounts of foamy cells, and touton giant cells in a few cases. Immunohistochemistry was positive for vimentin and CD68, while the vascular marker CD34 was negative. All the 5 patients underwent local resection without recurrence.
