An investigation on restoration of denture status in leprosy patients

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate restoration of?denture status of leprosy patients in China. Method: We firstly randomly selected 613 leprosy patients from six leprosy villages, and then examined their restoration of?denture status. Result: The restoration rate and bad prosthesis rate was 23.8% and 85.4% in 613 leprosy patients respectively. Conclusion: The restoration rate was low and the bad prosthesis rate was high in leprosy patients. We should pay attention to the oral health status of leprosy patients, and take measures to improve the restoration rate and restoration level.
