Monkeypox with penile edema as the main manifestation: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of atypical monkeypox, who presented with severe edema of the penis and foreskin when the rash first appeared, which was a rare clinical manifestation of monkeypox virus infection. qPCR testing showed positive for the monkeypox virus. The patient had unprotected male-to-male sexual activity two weeks ago.
