Abstract: Three cases of neonatal lupus erythematosus were reported and literature was reviewed. The more common lesions were manifested as erythema and papula on the face in the three patients. The second patient's mother had a history of Sjgren's syndrome for 6 years, and the other mothers had no history of connective tissue diseases. Serum ANA, anti-Ro/SSA, anti-La/SSB and Ro-52 antibodies were positive in the three infants and their mothers. Electrocardiography revealed no congenital heart block. Two had hepatic impairments. Symptoms subside after prednisone and symptomatic treatment.
