Abstract: A 53-year-old female presented with a solitary grayish brown plaque on left cheek for more than 2 years. Histopathological findings showed epidermal basket hyperkeratosis, striking acanthosis, liquefaction degeneration of basal cells with gelatinous bodies. The boundary between dermis and epidermis is blurred, linear infiltration of inflammatory cells in the intradermal blood vessels and appendages surrounding dermis. The diagnosis of lichenoid keratosis was made. The patient refused resection and quid nitrogen cryotherapy, and was treated with fluorouracil cream and the lesions were improved after the treatment. The patient was subsequently lost to follow-up.
