Abstract: Actinic keratosis is a kind of precancerous lesion resulting from sun exposure. Patients with actinic keratoses have a propensity for the development of squamous cell carcinoma. Dermoscopy has been widely used in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of actinic keratosis. The dermoscopic features of actinic keratosis include basal pseudoreticular erythema, white halo around the hair follicles, yellow horn plugs at the hair follicles, etc. The update of dermoscopic features and differential diagnosis of actinic keratosis is reviewed in this paper.
