Abstract: We report a case of primary cutaneous cryptococcosis. The patient was admitted with red and swollen right forearm and skin ulceration. A large number of yeastlike fungal spores were found in the pus smear, and the cell was surrounded by a capsule. The milky white colonies were cultured and identified as Cryptococcus neoformans by time-of-flight mass spectrometry. After debridement and anti-infective treatment, free skin grafting was performed. Fluconazole was continued after discharge, and the skin lesions were basically healed after 60 days.
