Abstract: A 29-year-old male presented with 4 erythema on the pubic mound with pain for 10 days, which gradually became larger. Dermatological examination showed that pustules and ulcers on the pubic mound and coronary sulcus, some pustules were burst and crusted, and guinal lymph nodes were swollen. The monkeypox virus of lesions was detected by nucleic acid testing in Hanyang Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Before onset, the patient had a history of unclean sexual activity and had no history of man had sex with a man. The diagnosis of monkeypox was made. Then the patient was transferred to the designated hospital for treatment.
