Herpes zoster in the infant: a case report

Abstract: Herpes zoster in infants is rare. We report a case of herpes zoster in an infant. The patient presented with erythema and blisters on the head and face for 4 days. The patient was improved after antiviral treatment, nerve nutrition, analgesia and red light irradiation. There was no post-herpetic neuralgia after 4 months follow-up.
