Abstract: Objective: To determine the image features of actinic keratosis (AK) under reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) and the application value in the diagnosis of AK. Methods: The lesions of 136 patients who were clinically suspected AK were examined with RCM and the results were compared with biopsy. Results: The characteristics of AK under RCM were disorganization of stratum spinosum and atypical keratinocytes, which were accordance with the feature of histopathology of AK. The agreement rate was 100%. Conclusions: The characteristics of AK under RCM is typical and can be used as a tool in the diagnosis of AK.
