Nodular cutaneous lupus mucinosis: two cases report and literature review

Abstract: Two patients with nodular cutaneous lupus mucinosis(NCLM)were reported and the relevant literature was reviewed. Patient one was a 42-year-old male, who presented with erythema and nodule lesions on his face, chest and back for 2 years. Patient two was a 32-year-old male, who presented with nodules and plaque on his face, chest, back and upper limbs for 2 months. Histopathologic examine showed a diffuse deposition of mucin between collagen bundles of dermis. Antinuclear antibodies were positive in the two patients. The diagnosis of nodular cutaneous lupus mucinosis (NCLM) was made.
