Abstract

Abstract: Zinc Finger MIZ-Type Containing 1 (ZMIZ1) gene, a protein inhibitor of activated STAT（PIAS） family，mainly expressed in naive T cells and gonads, which plays a key role in the development of immunity and gonads. Along with the development of genome-wide association study, many researches have demonstrated that ZMIZ1 is associated with a variety of skin diseases, skin tumors, and some autoimmune diseases. This review summarizes the structure, function of ZMIZ1 gene and the correlation with related diseases.
