Abstract: The pathogenesis of vitiligo is complex, with many influencing factors, and has not been fully clarified. Therefore, the application of vitiligo experimental model is of great significance for the in-depth study of its pathogenesis and the development of new drugs and treatments. Animal models and cell models are used in vitiligo research. The most common vitiligo animal models include spontaneous vitiligo model and induced vitiligo model, cell models are divided into cell lines and induced pluripotent stem cells. This paper reviews the vitiligo experimental model research progress in recent five years.
