Update of health-related quality-of-life scales applied in patients with vitiligo

Abstract: Although vitiligo is not a life-threatening disorder, it has major impact on the quality of life of patients because of chronic nature, recurrence, psychological pressure by the appearance of white macules and hindering the interpersonal communication of patients. It is a common method to assess the patients' quality of life using questionnaires. The advances of health-related quality-of-life scales used in  patients with vitiligo are reviewed in this paper.
