Abstract: Objective: To assess the efficacy of electiric light synergy and erbium fractional laser in the treatment of atrophic acne scars. Methods: The patients with atrophic acne scars in the department of aesthetic dermatology, Dalian dermatology hospital from January 2013 to June 2016 were collected and randomly divided into two groups. The patients with in the treatment group were treated with erbium fractional laser and electiric light synergy and those in the control group were treated with erbium fractional laser only, once a month for three times. The efficacies of both therapies were assessed by hyperpigmentation, erythem, scar, wrinkle, roughness. Results: Sixty-two patients were collected, 31 patients in each group. There was no significant difference of hyperpigmentation, erythem, scar, wrinkle, roughness between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the score of skin smoothness, scar, wrinkles, roughness, erythema, hyperpigmentation were 73.32±0.236、2.21±0.152、168.6±0.177、63±0.128、8.63±0.122、5.20±0.232 respectively and those in the control group were 70.45±0.354、3.28±0.138、180.6±0.412、66±0.422、13.62±0.121、11.22±0.121,with significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: Erbium fractional laser combined with electiric light synergy is more effective in the treatment of acne sag scar than Focal erbium fractional laser alone.
