Update of cold atmospheric plasma in the treatment of infectious skin disease

Abstract: Cold atmospheric plasma is an emerging therapeutic modality. It can induce various biomedical effects and is highly safe, which has attracted a lot of interest in the medical field. Cold atmospheric plasma has the potential to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites, making it a promising treatment for infectious skin disease. This paper summarizes the mechanisms of cold atmospheric plasma sterilization and application in infectious skin disease.
