Abstract: Hidradenitis suppurativa has no long-term effective treatment at present. A patient with hidradenitis suppurative was successfully treated by surgery in our department. A 32-year-old male patient presented with bilateral buttocks, groin, and axillary nodules and abscesses for 14 years, which worsened for 3 years. He had visited the local hospital for several times, but the condition was not controlled and recurred. Resection of lesions in bilateral buttocks, perineum and thigh root and temporary ileostomy were performed in our hospital. The wound was closed with negative pressure drainage, and the second stage of free skin grafting was performed. After the single skin grafting, the skin graft survived more than 80%, and the wound was almost completely healed after 4 weeks. There was no recurrence after 2 years of follow-up.
