Abstract: Consensuses on the therapy of vitiligo were made in different countries, such as Europe, England, Japan and china. Most of the patients could find effective and appropriate treatment regimes. However，special areas such as mucosal, hairy, articular and acral area, large size lesions and residual irregular lesions are considered to be refractory sites. The update of the effective therapies for vitiligo on refractory sites is reviewed in this paper.
