Necrobiosis lipoidica was misdiagnosed as tuberculosis and leprosy: a case report

Abstract: The clinical manifestations of necrobiosis lipoidica may be polymorphic, and the histopathological manifestations may be nodules, which is easy to be confused with infectious granulomas such as leprosy and tuberculosis, resulting in misdiagnosis. We report a female necrobiosis lipoidica patient who was repeatedly misdiagnosed as tuberculosis and leprosy.
