Abstract: Objective: To analyze the epidemic characteristics and control effect of leprosy in Yunnan Province from 2011 to 2020, so as to provide basis for making the next leprosy control plan. Methods: From 2011 to 2020,the data of cases were collected from LEPMIS, the final evaluation data of Yunnan leprosy elimination plan (2011-2020) were collected from prefecture, and the indicators of epidemic characteristics and work were analyzed by SPSS. Results: In 2020, the prevalence rate of leprosy was 0.62/105, a decrease of 77.21% compared with that in 2011 (2.72/105).The discovery rate was 0.25/105, a decrease of 59.02% compared with that in 2011 (0.61/105). The grade 2 deformity rate of new patients was 10.08%, 19 percentage points lower than that in 2011 (29.33%). There are no moderate endemic counties, and 116 counties have reached the national standard for eliminating leprosy hazards. There are 11 moderate endemic counties less than that in 2010, and 61 standard counties more than that in 2010. Conclusion: Through the implementation of the plan for the elimination of leprosy hazards (2011-2020), the leprosy epidemic situation appears to be in decline in Yunnan Province.
