Abstract: Psoriasis is a common chronic recurrent inflammatory skin disease, characterized by excessive proliferation and abnormal differentiation of keratinocytes as well as infiltration of inflammatory cells. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are a kind of lipid bilayer encapsulated nanoscale vesicles secreted by many kinds of cells, which act as carriers of intercellular communication and substance transmission to regulate the physiological or pathological responses of target cells. The update of EVs in the pathogenesis and application of psoriasis is reviewed in this paper.
